Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration hosts several events throughout the year that bring our supporters together to share their passion for our mission. We offer a unique variety of annual events including our Gala, Golf Tournament, Run, Walk & Roll, and Legendary Bingo. Other special fundraising events have included our Carnegie Hall Benefit Concert, Women of Inspiration Tea, and Macy’s Round Up for Charity Event, to name a few. Additionally, we host My PlayClub bi-monthly playdates at our inclusive playgrounds where children of ALL abilities have the opportunity to play together.

My PlayClub: Arctic Adventures

Saturday, December 6, 2025

Celebrate the Holidays at Aidan’s Place in Westwood with a fun playdate featuring holiday cookie decorating and festive card making! This free event brings children of ALL abilities together to play on our inclusive playground, enjoy face painting, temporary tattoos, treats, and more in a welcoming, winter wonderland setting. Volunteers from FOX Sports will be there to support our little elves and snow pals for this joyful celebration of play and inclusion!

Inclusive Schools Week

December 8 – 12, 2025

Celebrate Inclusive Schools Week with schools across Los Angeles honoring children of all abilities. This year’s theme, “Children First,” invites your school to create activities that promote belonging, respect, and inclusion. Start an inclusion committee, share stories about feeling included, or host discussions on inclusive education. Help every child feel seen, heard, and valued. Be part of the movement and show your school’s commitment to true inclusion!

The Roaring Inclusion Gala

Saturday, February 21, 2026

Step into the Roaring Inclusion Gala for a dazzling evening of 1920s-inspired glamour, generosity, and celebration! Don’t miss the red-carpet event of the year, bringing together supporters of ALL abilities to toast inclusion with a wine and spirits pull and exciting silent auction. Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, awards, live entertainment, and plenty of dancing in a sparkling night of purpose and joy, celebrating play, dignity, and connection for every child.
