VOLUNTEER

Are You Interested in Volunteer Work?

Do you feel called to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families? We’d love to hear from you!

Volunteering with Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration is not only rewarding and fun, but it’s also a powerful way to support others and create lasting impact.

We currently have various volunteer opportunities available throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.

If you’re interested in getting involved, please click below to fill out our Volunteer Application, email us at [email protected], or call us at 818.988.5676.

Let’s work together to create a world where play includes everyone. Thank you in advance for sharing your time and talents with us!

Corporate Ambassador

We need executive volunteers to assist us with fundraising, helping us make connections to new corporations. Whether you’ve worked in the corporate world or not, creating new partnerships is what being a Corporate Ambassador is all about. We will work closely with you to guide you every step of the way.

Community Outreach Ambassador

We regularly participate in Resource Fairs to provide information to the community. If you can help work the Inclusion Matters table at a Resource Fair, you could be a great Community Outreach Ambassador. Another possibility is greeting children with special needs on school field trips at our playgrounds through our School Transportation Program. It only requires a half hour visit during the field trip to check in with the kids and teachers to put a face to Shane’s Inspiration. We are happy to train you to be a Community Outreach Ambassador! It’s a great way to have a flexible volunteer position with lots of variety.

Office Support & Research Assistance

We’re always looking for amazing volunteers to join us in our Los Angeles office for just a few hours each week!

Your support can include helping with mailings, basic (PC) computer tasks, general office duties, and event preparation. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with others who are passionate about Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration and play a meaningful role in our mission.

Prefer to volunteer from home?
If you’re homebound, you can still make a difference! We often need help with online research, which you can do from the comfort of your home.

To get started, please click on the Sign Up button below. We’d love to have you on our team!

Event Volunteer

Join us at one of our exciting ongoing events!

We host various events throughout the year, including our Annual GalaGolf Tournament, Run, Walk & Roll, Bingo, and My PlayClub.

For Kids Interested in Volunteering

MyPlayClub is a fantastic way for kids to get involved and make a difference!

Young volunteers can be paired with a child as a MyPlayClub Buddy, or they can lend a hand with arts & crafts, refreshments, face painting, temporary tattoos, and more.

It’s a great opportunity to learn about inclusion through play—and we encourage the whole family to come out, get involved, and discover more about our mission in a fun and engaging way.
