Over a decade ago, we had the honor to meet their thoughtful Board of Directors during one of our inclusive field trips at an Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration playground in Los Angeles. They watched children with disabilities and without seamlessly interact, communicate, laugh, and play together. After those two short hours, Discover A Star Foundation had one simple question: what do you need to make this mission continue?
Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration has seen our education program thrive thanks to their team, Board of Directors, and Universal Studios Hollywood. Thousands of children have learned how powerful play is: it is compassion in action. Hundreds of teachers in Los Angeles have been inspired to take those lessons learned on the playground back to their campuses through professional development.
Universal Studios Hollywood’s Discover A Star Foundation has taught us that the brightest stars shine from heart to heart. Their light continues to shine on inclusion for all our children matters. They are a philanthropic foundation for our community.
