GIVING TUESDAY

How to Donate on Giving Tuesday in 2024

As a world leader in inclusive play, Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration has impacted the lives of millions of children worldwide. Children with disabilities often spend their lives being excluded from play, friends, and their social communities. This harmful isolation can impact the trajectory of their lives. Our work to create play, dignity, and social equity for children with disabilities makes us one of the best organizations to support and donate to charity this Giving Tuesday.

Thanks to our supporters, we have changed the paradigm of play. Since our founding over 27 years ago, we’ve created 80 inclusive playgrounds across five continents, with more in development. Our initiatives in the United States and beyond help level the playing field for children with disabilities.

We are proud to be involved with a global day of giving by participating in #GivingTuesday on December 3, 2024.

With your help, we can come together to ensure that no child is left on the sidelines of play.

FAQs for Giving Tuesday

GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world.

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

GivingTuesday strives to build a world in which the catalytic power of generosity is at the heart of the society we build together, unlocking dignity, opportunity, and equity around the globe.

Giving Tuesday is an annual day of giving held on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. This year, Giving Tuesday will be held on December 3, 2024.

Following traditional days of spending, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday stands in contrast. Instead, Giving Tuesday is focused on the act and spirit of giving back to children and families in need.

There are several ways to participate in Giving Tuesday during this giving season.

As an Inclusion Matters supporter, you can help us reach children with disabilities, their families, and their communities on Giving Tuesday in several ways, including:

  • Making a donation
  • Creating a Facebook Fundraiser
  • Becoming a Family2Family Legacy Donor
  • Joining our 365 Club
  • Playing, streaming, or posting to social media

The spirit of generosity can be found all around us and Inclusion Matters recognizes this. As a global movement, Giving Tuesday is designed to inspire people and communities to come together at a time of the year when we can collectively reflect on those in need.

While Black Friday and Cyber Monday are recognized as days of spending, Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to donate your time, talent, or passion to transform your community and help change children’s lives.
